However, again, it's quite possible that they're using a handful of missions as engine tests. I agree with OK-Suggestion-1331 that it looks like some missions are done. A lot of these basics need to be pretty locked down early in dev, because they influence everything: if you make vehicles launch faster off ramps by changing the physics late in the day, you then have to go through the map and adjust every ramp you built. In some places, arguably, there's some map testing going on (but again, a lot of ramp-related stuff). There's a fake map area with graded ramps for different vehicles. A lot of the mechanics under test are basic ones. That all said: to my eyes, it does not look like a game getting close to being polished. Everything constantly changing makes that job much harder. because they're testing specific mechanics, and the point is to make each test as comparable to the previous one as possible. A QA build is never going to incorporate all the models, textures, etc. You can't really say a huge amount about the game itself, because there's no evidence - it could have been early in development, it could have been relatively late in development, and these captures would not be substantially different in look or feel. These were taken pretty recently - all the way up to the leak itself, pretty much - but are representative of the state of the engine, not the state of the game. These videos were recorded to demonstrate test cases either passing or failing, by QA engineers who were mainly running engine tests. The one thing I think we truly know about the leaks: they came out of QA. P.S in the club leak, there were character mission markers on the map, so missions are probably done or close to done. Then after that a year for testing till end of 2024. This is not necessarily their process but if it is, one year is more than enough to update the details on the map, When done, I then enable the uv map texture, which still looks basic till I finally render. Once all the systems in game are working they'll just apply the ready made textures.īasically I'm saying the things that were not there are not going to be made from scratch after September 2022, they most likely already exist and have not been added to the world or have been turned off.īefore rigging or animating a model, I already have the textures uv map done but I turn them off while rigging or set them to the lowest possible level(detail) while animating. What y'all think about this? should we worried?Įven though the character textures weren't implemented doesn't mean they aren't done yet, same goes for car models etc. i don't know stuff about development though, but i hope this was the case. It's either that, or it's actually almost done, it just that the leaks is recorded on poorer computer that some of the staff has like for example some videos that use GTX 1080 Ti, and some other major development are in another better build. with the fact that there's lots of stuff that haven't fine tuned like story mode, side story, character models, vehicle models, weapon models, animations, graphics, map buildings, vegetations, underwater environment, performance Optimizations et cetera that must be done in less than 2 years (again, assuming that they will release it in 2024) is kinda make me worried. I want to know, how did you all confirm that it was at present day?Īnd also, if these are from 2022, isn't it a bit too early for a 2024 release? i mean yes, there's a 1 year gap but we are talking about slow-ass Rockstar games here. BUT, lately people start to debugging it, somehow changes their statement that these videos are actually from 2022, and the latest video is literally weeks before it got leaked. So i'm reminiscing the leaks that came out last year (which is crazy for the fact that it's almost a year since) and i've heard lots of people confirming that these videos are taken from 2019-2020 which is quite old.
